RozyCam

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 27, 2024

At RozyCam, your privacy is fundamental to everything we do. This comprehensive Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your information when you use our random video chat platform. We are committed to transparency and to giving you control over your personal data.

By using RozyCam, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Information: If you choose to create an account, we collect information such as email address, username, and password. Note that RozyCam can be used without creating an account for basic random chat functionality.

Communications: When you contact our support team, report violations, or communicate with us, we collect the content of those communications and associated metadata.

Preferences and Settings: We store your platform preferences, language settings, and feature choices to provide a personalized experience.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Service, including:

  • Device information (browser type, operating system, device model)
  • IP address and general geographic location (country/region level)
  • Connection timestamps and session duration
  • Features used and pages visited
  • Referral source (how you found RozyCam)
  • Technical data about connection quality and performance

Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information and improve our Service. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Types of cookies we use include:

  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the platform
  • Security Cookies: Support security features and fraud prevention

1.3 Video and Audio Data

Peer-to-Peer Transmission: RozyCam uses WebRTC technology to facilitate direct peer-to-peer video and audio connections whenever possible. This means your video and audio streams are transmitted directly between you and your chat partner, not through our servers.

No Recording Policy: We do not record, store, or monitor your video or audio conversations. Your chats are ephemeral and private.

Moderation Scanning: Our AI-powered moderation system analyzes video frames in real-time to detect violations of community guidelines. This scanning occurs automatically and immediately, with detected violations flagged for immediate action. Flagged content may be temporarily stored for moderation review, typically for 24-72 hours maximum.
